Krea 2 negative prompts

Krea 2 Turbo is built to run without classifier-free guidance, so a negative prompt has nothing to work with. Write what you want in the main prompt instead: “an empty street” rather than “no people”.

Why Krea 2 Turbo ignores negatives

Krea’s Krea 2 Turbo model card runs the model at 8 steps with --cfg 0.0 (in diffusers, guidance_scale=0.0). A negative prompt only acts through guidance. In ComfyUI, a CFG of 1 means the same thing in practice: sampling_function skips the unconditional pass, the one that carries the negative prompt, whenever CFG is 1.0.

The Raw checkpoint runs at CFG 3.5, where a negative can act, but Krea says Raw is “not recommended for inference use” and is meant as a base for fine-tuning.

What happens when you write “no” in the prompt

no people, no cars, seed 101
empty, completely deserted, seed 101
no people, no cars, seed 303
empty, completely deserted, seed 303

Both versions emptied the street on every seed. So a short “no” inside the main prompt can work on Krea 2. What doesn’t work is the separate negative prompt box at CFG 1, or a long list of specific objects, which tends to summon them (the prompting guide has the numbers).

Positive rewrites that work

  • No people → “an empty street, completely deserted, at dawn”
  • No text or watermark → describe clean surfaces: “a blank white wall”, “an unmarked bottle”
  • No makeup → “bare skin with visible pores and faint freckles”
  • Not blurry → name the focus: “sharp focus on her eyes, 85mm lens at f/2”
  • Not cartoon → name the medium: “a candid 35mm film photograph”

On SirenRender, the platform sets the negative prompt for every tile, and on Quick Generate it isn’t evaluated anyway because the tile runs at CFG 1. Every prompt in the Krea 2 library is written this way, in positive terms only.
