Illustrious pose prompts, tested

Twenty-four pose tags on a plain white background, so the pose is the only thing that changes. Same character, same two seeds for every tag.

The test

Every tile below uses the same prompt with one tag swapped in, on the same two seeds (1001 and 1002), on SirenRender’s free anime tile: WAI-Illustrious-SDXL v17 with the DMD2 LoRA, 8 steps, CFG 1, 832×1216. {TAG} marks where each tag goes:

general, solo, mature female, long black hair, amber eyes, white shirt, black jacket, black pants, simple background, white background, full body, {TAG}

What we found

Pose tags are the most dependable group we tested on WAI v17. Most of them changed the pose on both seeds, especially running, jumping, crossed arms, hands in pockets, leaning forward, salute, fighting stance and dynamic pose. The weak ones were walking, which mostly looked like standing, and pointing at viewer, which landed on one seed. Two things to watch: sitting with nothing to sit on put her on the floor once and on thin air once, so name the seat (sitting on chair, sitting on stairs), and holding umbrella drew a second, closed umbrella on both seeds.
