Illustrious prompt builder

Pick tags and the builder writes a WAI-Illustrious prompt. Every option is a tag we tested on WAI v17 with the same character and seeds, and the thumbnail is its real render, so you can see what a tag does before you use it.

Character

Left out, because they made no visible change in our test: silhouette, dark.

Left out, because they made no visible change in our test: anime coloring, anime screencap, flat color, watercolor (medium), oil painting (medium), sketch, lineart, monochrome, colorful, impressionism, ukiyo-e, traditional media, limited palette, chromatic aberration, film grain, painterly, thick outlines.

How the builder writes the prompt

  • Every prompt starts with general, solo and mature female (or 1boy, mature male). general is the rating tag that keeps WAI v17 safe for work, and in our tests it was the strongest single tag in the prompt. The prompt guide shows why.
  • Each option was tested on its own: one base prompt with one tag swapped in, on seeds 1001 and 1002. The tile shows one of those renders. Combinations aren’t pre-rendered, so treat what you build as a starting point and expect some tags to pull against each other.
  • Tags that made no visible change in our test are left out, which removes most art-style tags. Their renders are still on the tag pages, linked above each row.
  • Tags go in a fixed order: hair, eyes, clothing, expression, pose, background, lighting, framing, style. In our tests tag order barely changed the image on WAI v17, so the order is only there to keep prompts readable.
  • SirenRender adds masterpiece, best quality to every anime prompt, so the builder leaves them out.
