Why it works

  • “Gazing toward bright window light” and “dramatic side lighting creating bold shadows across the face” give the light a source and a direction, so every seed lit him from the same side.
  • Black and white is said three ways (monochrome, cinematic noir, Kodak Double-X), and all four seeds came out as true greyscale with deep blacks.
  • The prompt also names a camera and lens (“Leica SL3 + APO-Summicron-SL 90mm, f/2”). All four seeds came out as tight portraits with a softly blurred background, which is what a 90mm lens at f/2 gives you.

Make it yours

  • Swap the T-shirt for a white shirt to put a bright shape under the face.
