Why it works

  • “Exact dead-centre symmetry” and “strong one-point perspective” are stated outright, and the frame came out symmetrical on every seed.
  • “Two perfectly symmetrical rows of fluorescent lights recede overhead” gives the eye a path into the picture. The lights are the composition.
  • The palette is spelled out (shiny yellow tiles, sodium glow, cool blue-black shadows), so the colors matched across all four seeds.

Make it yours

  • The original said “a hooded teenage figure”; we made it “a hooded figure”. Try “a woman in a long red coat” for a splash of color.
