Why it works

  • window plus rain on window gave raindrops on the glass on all four seeds, which is what makes the room feel warm by contrast.
  • warm lighting and indoors keep the palette amber and brown, while the grey rain outside stays cool.
  • glasses and bob cut are strong identity tags on WAI. The character is recognisably the same on every seed.

Make it yours

  • Swap reading book for writing in notebook or using laptop.
  • Change rain to snow and beige sweater to red turtleneck for a winter version.
  • Add cat to put one on the windowsill.
