Why it works

  • 1boy, mature male gave an adult man with stubble and a hard jaw on every seed. mature male is the male twin of the mature female anchor tested in the prompt guide.
  • rain, night and lightning do the lighting: the flash behind him outlines his shoulders against the bamboo.
  • hand on hilt is the action. He hasn’t drawn yet, which reads as more tense than a raised sword.

Make it yours

  • Change dark kimono to white kimono and night to dawn for a duel at first light.
  • Swap bamboo forest for temple gate or burning village.
  • Add straw hat for the wandering-swordsman look.
